This is a shared reflection space for a facilitator and a participant to explore AuDHD push-pull patterns together.
You will see a five by five board. Each square names two needs or experiences that may pull in different directions within the same person. Open a square, read the pattern, talk through the questions, then choose the response that fits: fits often, depends on context, or not my experience.
There are no correct answers and nothing is scored. All three responses are equally valid. The aim is understanding, not collecting traits.
Nothing you select is saved, sent, or stored. Responses stay in this browser tab for this session only and disappear when the page is closed or refreshed.

How to use this board
AuDHD can involve needs and capacities that appear to pull in different directions. These patterns may overlap, amplify one another, or change with context, stress, interest, sensory load, and available energy.
Select a square together. Consider whether the pattern fits often, depends on context, or is not part of this person's experience. The goal is not to collect traits. It is to understand the person's patterns and identify what may support them.
The three responses
Fits often. The pattern is frequently recognizable across the person's life or current circumstances.
Depends on context. The pattern changes with environment, energy, interest, demands, sensory load, or available support.
Not my experience. The pattern does not describe this person. This remains a valid and visible response.
Any response can be changed later. Nothing is scored, saved, or sent anywhere.
Anyone with this link can open the same module. No responses travel with the link.
This module is built to be used alongside a person, not handed over as a worksheet. It works best when you read a square aloud, pause, and let the participant decide what fits.
How to hold the activity
Move from recognition to understanding, then toward support planning. Recognition alone is not the goal.
Treat all three responses as equally informative. Not my experience tells you as much as fits often.
Resist totals. There is no score, profile, or severity level here, and the counter only tracks how much of the board you have discussed.
Use the explore questions as openings. If one lands, stay there rather than finishing the board.
Offer supports as options to test, not instructions to follow.
When a resonance line appears
A completed line is a formulation prompt. Ask what might connect those patterns: energy, sensory load, interest, uncertainty, demands, and available support are useful places to look.
Language used here
This module uses Time Perception Difference, Flow-Time, Clock-Time, Emotional Flooding, Rejection Flooding, and access to action. It presents AuDHD as one integrated neurotype with interacting needs, not as two sides competing for control.
About this page
One Mind, Interacting Needs is an interactive Session Sidekick from AUplusDHD. It holds 24 push-pull patterns: pairs of needs, forms of access, or internal experiences that may pull in different directions within the same person.
Each square uses an inside-out, experience-first lens. It describes what a pattern may feel like or make difficult from within, rather than defining a person from the outside. Possibility language is used throughout because no pattern belongs to every AuDHD person.
The center square, Context and Capacity Matter, is always active. It is there as a reminder that capacity changes and that context shapes what any of these patterns look like on a given day.
Responses live in this browser tab only. There is no account, no database, no analytics, and no network submission. Refreshing the page clears everything.
Disclaimer
This module is psychoeducational. It is not an assessment, test, screener, diagnostic aid, or symptom checklist, and it produces no score, percentage, severity level, or profile type.
Common patterns are described here, not universal rules. Selecting many squares does not indicate AuDHD, and selecting few does not rule it out. A resonance line is a conversation prompt only.
Nothing here replaces assessment, diagnosis, therapy, or medical care from a qualified professional who knows the person. If a pattern raises something that needs clinical attention, follow your usual pathway for that.
Facilitators remain responsible for consent, pacing, and the wellbeing of the person in the room. A participant can decline any square or end the activity at any point.
No responses are stored, transmitted, exported, or logged. Everything stays in the browser for this session only.
